Free Initial Consultation
Q: Is this by phone or in person?
A: Whichever is more convenient for you. We are happy to see you at our London office though often it is quicker and easier to have the initial consultation over the phone. Either way we can advise you of the best way forward and if you wish to go ahead, then we will always put our advice in writing either by post or email. We will also confirm in writing whether your case qualifies for our No Visa No Fee money-back guarantee.
Q: I want to go ahead and want to know your payment methods
A: We accept payment by:
- Cheque
- Cash (Can either be paid at our office or at a bank quoting your name and client reference number; It must never be sent to us by post)
- Bank transfer
- Credit card (Please note there is a 2.5% surcharge for credit cards)
- Debit card (No surcharge)
Q: Do you need all payment upfront?
A: In most cases yes, for instance applications to a British embassy/High Commission/Consulate. However, for appeals and certain in-country applications it may be possible to accept 50% of our fee upfront with the balance spread over 10 weeks in five fortnightly instalments by standing order. Where we do offer an instalment package, please note that any fee payable to the Border Agency is always payable to them upfront. We will confirm the payment structure during the first consultation and will also put it in writing before we start work on your case.
No Visa No Fee money-back guarantee
Q: How does this work?
A: Depending on what type of case you have it usually works as follows:
1) If we are submitting an application on your behalf to either the Border Agency or a British embassy/High Commission/Consulate then we would require you to pay our Application Fee plus the fee for the Border Agency, British embassy/High Commission/Consulate. If our application is refused, you would then in addition you will need to pay our Appeal Fee. If the appeal is dismissed, we would refund you both our Application Fee and our Appeal Fee. The only fee you would not get back is the fee paid to the Border Agency, British embassy/High Commission/Consulate.
2) If you have already submitted your application to either the Border Agency or a British embassy/High Commission/Consulate and have been refused, then we would require you to pay our Appeal Fee. If the appeal is dismissed, our fee is refunded in full.
Q: Are there any additional amounts to pay?
A: No. We do not have any hidden extras. For example, our Appeal Fee already includes the barrister’s fee to represent you at the AIT (Asylum & Immigration Tribunal). So with our guarantee, when we say we will refund you the Appeal Fee, this includes any barrister’s fee.
Q: Are your fees fixed or based upon how much time you spend on a case?
A: Clients do not like being charged by the hour as they can never be certain what their case will end up costing them. That is why for all our applications and appeals, our fees are fixed so you know in advance exactly what each stage will cost you, no matter how long it takes.
Q: How much are your fees?
A: They vary depending on the type of your case but will always be agreed either at the initial consultation (whether over the phone or in person) or once we have seen all your documents but either way they will be agreed in writing before we start work on your case.
